spring co*de 🌸

thought i’d post about today’s co*de! 

after reading georgies blog post about popteen spring trends a while ago i fell in love with all the polka dot tops and dresses! especially ones with the tulle, lace or satin details on the straps and hem (here’s the link to georgies post!)

there was similar outfits in a 2008 issue of KiLaLa that i really loved, so i’ve been super excited to try it out!

then i found this one on depop by chance and it even has hello kitty on!! 

it’s so perfect i just had to get itit had a little rip on the ribbon that’s on the back but i just sewed it back on

i used the magazine scans and tried to make an outfit that’s similar to those trends with a turtleneck shirt underneath it and sparkly jewellery! 

i think i need to get some fancier looking bracelets thoughmaybe some pearls would be cute

i also tried to something i hasn’t tried before with my hair by having the sides clipped back and used short extensions for volume, i was super happy with it!! 

i definitely want to get some more accessories and dresses like this for summerit’s a super comfy and casual but still glamorous style 

i also want to try out himekaji for the first time this summer! i only have pieces that'd work for more wintery outfits though, so i’ll probably wait for a cold day 

i also didn’t feel right making a post when some of my friends are in such a crisis without saying something 

so i want to send all the love in the world to akipoyo 

all of you are in my thoughts along with your friends and families, i really hope that you’re all safe and staying as positive as you can

you’re all strong, smart, kindhearted people and no amount of anti semitism or hatred can ever take that away from you

everyone deserves to live in safety and peace and i hope that can come soon and the violence can stop 

i hope you can have a good time celebrating Shavuot and that it can lift your spirits!
